I have always had an affinity and love for the arts ever since I was a child. I remember spending hours just coloring and collaging, loving how the colors and textures danced together. I didn’t discover my love and passion for photography until my husband surprised me with a Camera as a Christmas gift one year in 2015. I’m sure he never expected me to turn it into a full blown career!

Needless to say, I absolutely fell in love with the art of life. I got my hands on any education that I could. I interned for two years, 2nd Shot, watched hours and hours of education videos.

In 2017, I was finally ready to take the plunge of owning my own business! I purchased my first LLC! Wax & Whale Co. was born! My husband actually came up with the name and I came up with the interpretation behind it. The word wax comes from the term waxing used during a lunar cycle, meaning to illuminate and or bring light to. The word whale in Native American Culture symbolizes family and romance.

So together, we shine light on family & love.
